Over 7,000 high school students, advisors, and guests attend the largest annual state CTSO conference-- the California FFA State Leadership Conference will be held at the Sacramento Convention Center. The four-day conference attracts young agricultural leaders from over 300 chapters of California FFA. The Convention encourages students to develop personal and team leadership skills, discover agricultural careers, establish lasting friendships, and strive for success. The Convention will also highlight student accomplishments in public speaking and production practices with proficiency awards, scholarships, and special recognitions.
Who: All FFA Members; 20 spots available
To be eligible to attend the conference students must meet the following criteria:
Have a 2.0 GPA, no more than 1 F, and a C or better in their agriculture course(s).
Students must not be on the “No Go” list
Student must have competed in at least one public speaking contest OR attended at least one leadership conference
Student must have attended at least 3 Chapter Meetings
Students must be in good standing with FFA advisors
If there are more than 20 qualified students, then the agriculture advisors will decide based on factors including but not limited to involvement in chapter events, seniority, etc.
When: Wednesday 4/2/25 – Sunday 4/6/25
We will leave Serrano on Wednesday 4/2/25 @ 9 am. We will return to Serrano around 8 pm on Sunday 4/6/25.
