Amanda, who has been with Snapology since we started in 2019, is our Lead Teacher and Talent Manager! Amanda teaches every curriculum we have and is a crucial mentor to our new teachers each summer. Amanda achieved a Masters in Education and during the school year is teaching Math at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.
Amanda loves working with Snapology because "because it is an opportunity to allow kids to tap into their creativity, but also learn science and teamwork at the same time."
Shannon is our 3rd year returning Pre School Teacher! Shannon achieved a Masters in Early Childhood Development and has been teaching littles her whole career! During the school year, Shannon is a teacher at The Oakridge School in Arlington.
Shannon says "I love that Snapology truly is educational AND fun! Lesson goals mirror state curriculum standards AND provide hands on themed activities that kids love!"
We're thrilled to have Sydney back for her second summer season! Sydney graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2021 and taught STEAM & tons of Robotics camps all summer with Snapology before starting her teaching career this school year as a 2nd Grade Teacher in Keller ISD.
Hillary is back with Snapology this summer to teach all things STEAM! Hillary has been teaching elementary and middle school Science in the HEB and Grapevine area for her entire career, and is currently teaching at a private school in Grapevine.
Patricia has been teaching with Snapology all spring and is excited for her first summer with Snapology! Patricia recently retired after 20+ years teaching students at Ft. Worth ISD, serving SPED and Gen Ed Students in Title I schools the majority of her career.
Patricia said after teaching her first Snapology class, "I can't believe I waited until I retired to find my dream job!"
Connor has been teaching Physics/Engineering classes in high schools in San Antonio and Fort Worth since 2013, and is currently teaching Rocket Engineering in Birdville ISD. In his spare time, he is heavily involved in the local swing dance community and serves consistently at his church.
Connor is super excited to be on the team for his first summer at Snapology and is really looking forward to seeing students' creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression through all the great classes!
Hannah joins Snapology as a entering Senior and Elementary Education major at Baylor University. Hannah has over 140 hrs of class room teaching experience through Baylor's amazing Education program and in the fall will return to Waco to complete a year-long student teaching internship, and will graduate in the spring of 2023.
This is Hannah's first summer with Snapology and she is so excited to gain more experience teaching STEAM lessons while having fun with all our students!!
