Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Paula Daniels and I teach students with identified needs in Reading. I provide specialized instruction in our Magnetic Reading and iReady Reading curriculum programs. This is my 22nd year teaching. I have taught grades 1-3 here in the Smyrna School District, as well as small group instruction to grades K-6. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a minor degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Reading Instruction. I'm certified to teach regular education K-8, as well as special education K-12, along with students with autism and severe intellectual disabilities. I live in Clayton, DE with my husband, our 17 year old son, our 12 year old daughter, our 6 year old boxer, and our 3 year old goldendoodle.  I look forward to sharing my love of reading!

How to Access Software

• Log in directions for software program (Grades 2-4):

• 1. Use your quick card or log in with firstname.lastname@smyrnaeagles.org. Password is SSDlunch#.

• 2. Go to Classlink and click iReady. If Classlink doesn't pop up when you log in, go to Google. Click Bookmarks (top left). In the drop down menu, click the top one, Classlink. Then, click on iReady.

• 3. Follow the software's directions.
