Reverend Bill & Marcie Ford

Rev. Bill Ford and his wife Marcie are very excited to be calling Bruington home. Bill began his ministry with Smyrna Christian Church in November of 2019. Bill earned his Master of Divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary and has over 20 years of ministry experience. Bill and Marcie moved here from Northeast Georgia, where they both have lived most of their lives. Marcie is a Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience. Her area of practice is gastroenterology , and she practices with Richmond Gastroenterology Associates in Richmond. Bill and Marcie are very enthusiastic and feel blessed that their paths have led them to Bruington for this new phase of their personal and professional lives together.

Nancy Fort

Director of Music

Nancy first started attending Smyrna Christian Church in October of 2021. In March of the following year, Nancy began her creative work as Director of Smyrna's Music Ministry. Possessing degrees in both Piano Performance and Music Education, Nancy's passions for serving God through music have been lifelong. Nancy's service includes home and foreign mission work, a plethora of experience in a variety of church settings, numerous on-stage performances, and a successful business. Nancy's former business combined her love of music and twin-construction children's books that utilize Braille. Nancy travelled to a variety of schools across multiple states, sharing her own arrangements of children's music and classical music that mixed sound, history, culture, and inclusivity. Now at Smyrna, Nancy enjoys working with a variety of talents and arranging music to help all voices and gifts blossom for the Lord.
