Welcome! I'm thrilled to be starting my third year at Carver Elementary. With six years of experience in education, my heart has always belonged to supporting elementary students. There's something incredibly special about this age group. Their curiosity, their resilience, and the sheer joy they bring to learning every day will never cease to amaze me. I absolutely love what I do and it's a privilege to be a part of their foundational years. As Brené Brown reminds us, "Our only options are to opt-out or show up, and even then, we will screw it up, but we'll screw it up with courage, and we'll screw it up with grace."

Hola! I am Adriana Echeagaray and I am a graduate student at Pepperdine University while completing my practicum at San Marino Unified School District for Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to my start in psychology, I worked with early childhood education as an educator in a daycare. My career change was adapted when I was asked myself 'How else can I support these children and their families?' and therefore my interest in psychology grew. I am passionate about understanding others and building relationships where they can utilize those foundations in building their future success in life. Just as Fred Rogers once said, "Anyone who does anything to help a child in their life is a hero to me."
