Insurance Information

San Marcos Unified School District offers optional insurance for families to purchase to cover the device checked out to their student(s) beginning on August 5, 2026 through October 31, 2026.

You have two ways of purchasing insurance

1. Purchase insurance online with a credit card by visiting this website.

Online Application for Credit Card (ASB Works)

2. Purchase with a check by printing out the application and returning it to the office at your school's office with a check or money order made out to San Marcos Unified School District.

If your child needs to have the Chromebook repaired or replaced due

 to damage or theft, please complete this form.

* If you purchase insurance after damage or theft occurs, the claim will be denied, and you will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the device. 

If your child exchanges their Chromebook in the library for a new one for any reason, 

please complete this form to notify us of the new asset tag and serial number.
