Tutorials

The AVID curriculum is designed to build WICOR skills. It does this with the following activity: TUTORIALS.

Students are put into the most challenging classes they can handle, and given direct support from their AVID teacher and tutors. On most Tuesdays and Thursdays students will participate in tutorial groups with an adult facilitator and student participants. Students are responsible for helping each other understand the subject of that session.
