Enrollment Process for New Students
New student enrollment for the 2026-27 school year will open on February 2, 2026!
If your student currently attends a SMUSD school and is continuing with us for the next school year, please complete the residency verification process; do not enroll as a new student
If you were enrolled in prior years at SMUSD and have a ParentVUE account, you may re-enroll using your account credentials
New Student Enrollment Steps:
Step 1 - Ensure you have a valid email address
Step 2 - Gather all required documents (click here for more details)
Proof of Address
Student's Birth Verification
Proof of Age
Parent/guardian(s) name and contact information
Emergency contact names and phone number(s)
Health information
Proof of Immunizations
Previous school's address and phone number
Transcripts or last report card/withdrawal grades (if applicable)
Custodial documentation (if applicable)

School Immunizations may be obtained from North County Health Services located at: 150 Valpreda Road, San Marcos (760)-736-6767. - Free! North County Health Services is offering the T-Dap at no cost.
