SMMS CTE PROGRAMS: MEDIA ARTS/BROADCASTING, GRAPHIC ARTS/YEARBOOK, & TECHNOLOGY
Class overview.
Welcome to our CTE classroom. Our programs provide a foundation to prepare students for advanced study in media arts and technology courses in High School. Topics include Digital Photography, Graphic Arts, Computer Science, & Engineering.
Students have a variety of disciplines to explore including Robotics, Coding, Film Making, Photography, and produce the school Yearbook.
WELCOME STUDENTS
I am looking forward to working with you this year! We have many new tools in our classroom and will be expanding our project based learning activities in the engineering field. We are also bringing back Crusader News! I believe that although we may have different experiences with arts and technology, everyone has the capacity to explore and learn. As always, I am here to support you on that journey.
About me
Welcome friends, I am a native San Diegan, but love to travel and have been all over the world. I attended Georgetown University and the University of San Diego. I have worked as a technology and media industry professional for 15 years before becoming becoming a teacher and truly enjoy helping students explore, discover, and apply their new knowledge. I hope to be your partner in assuring their success.
