Dear Room 35 Families,
Our classroom setting will consist of flexible seating throughout the day to promote collaboration. The classroom will contain table groupings instead of individual desks. Due to this arrangement, students will be sharing many of the school supplies. Donations of school supplies are always appreciated throughout the year, but never expected. Your child will be provided with pencils, a box of colored pencils, glue, erasers, and a ruler. However, you may want them to have some supplies at home for projects and/or home activities. Please, view the recommended donation lists below.
Thank you,
Mrs. Williams
Here is what you will need to supply your child with:
1: 1 binder that is 2 inches thick with a clear view front (to bring to and from school). Since we will be using only 1 binder it must be at least 2 inches thick to accommodate all subjects.
2: 2 packs, notebook (lined) paper. 3-hole punched (college or wide-ruled). Make sure your binder has paper in it daily!
3. Binder Dividers (one pack of 6 is plenty with labels to properly identify the following subjects: Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Writing, Graded Work) This will be used to separate each subject and work in their binder.
4. Headphones for their chromebooks
5: 6 Pencils (Mechanical or Ticonderoga #2 pencils preferred)
6: 2 single subject spiral notebooks
7: 1 box/pack of sheet protectors
