ART TEACHERS

We are so lucky to have a fun, dedicated and talented group of instructors in the Visual Art Department at SMUS. With combined experience in design, illustration, painting, photography, art history, drafting, lay-out, drawing, animation, site-specific design, arduino, environmental art, computer graphics, AP, comics, 3D modeling, fabrication, installation, experiential education, IB, ceramics, textiles, place-based education, sculpture, carpentry, set-design, video editing, and costumes (see below), there is a wide array of opportunity, creativity and learning we can offer the students. 

We also push hard to keep developing the program to make sure it meets students' needs and keeps up with the rapidly evolving world of visual arts, design and creativity.

As a team, we take on collaborative projects to push our own creativity and creation skills - and to have fun! Below is a selection of our famous Halloween costumes and other playful projects.
