Guidelines for the Submission of Abstract

1. The abstract shall be submitted in MS Word format using English language.

2. The abstract should be submitted via iccs@smu.edu.ph with the subject FICCS Abstract Submission using the your active email address.

3. The abstract shall include the following:

1. Title of the Study

• The title of the study must not exceed more than 16 words.

• It should be in Cambria, font size 11. 

• The title, centered in the upper half of the page,  should be typed in upper case such that major words start with capital letters while the rest are in small letters. It may take up one or two lines.

2. Authors

• The authors' names and institutions/affiliations are just below the Title of Study. A numerical superscript is placed after an author's name, and the same numerical superscript is used to indicate the author's institution/affiliation (Name of the Department or College, Name of the University/Institution, City, Postal Code, Ocuntry) is placed below the authors' names. An asterisk, in superscript, is also placed after the name of the corresponding author. Indicate also the corresponding author’s email address.

• It should be in Cambria, font size 10, italic.

3. Content 

• The content of the abstract must not exceed 250 words. It must include a short context or background of the study, purposes/objectives of the study, methods, results, conclusions, and significance/implication. It should be in Cambria, font size 12. 

4. Keywords

• The abstract should have at least five keywords listed alphabetically and italicized. The word Keyword is written as such and in boldface with a colon. It should not repeat the words read from the title of the paper. It should be in Cambria, in font size 10, and italicized.
