LION'S CLUB VISION AND HEARING TESTING MONDAY. LIVING ROSARY FRIDAY IN CHURCH. NO SCHOOL MONDAY, OCTOBER 12TH-INSERVICE.
Religion- chapter 5-"Quiet Is Good". Our faith focus is: God the Father speaks to us in quiet. We will idenify church as a holy place where God is present.
Math- chapter 2- Geometry and Patterns- square, rectangle, circle, combine and separate figures, take a quiz on Thursday from lessons 1-8, and size and growing patterns.
ELA- We will learn the letter sound and formation of letters Aa and Gg. We will continue to write in our journals, handwriting books, and read stories. We will begin Fontas and Pinnell Reading groups next week. We will continue with show and tell, reading stories and centers.
FRIDAY MASS AT 9:00AM GRADES K-4, ALL ARE WELCOME! FATHER COX WILL BE COMING TO OUR CLASSROOM TO TALK ABOUT THE BIBLE STORY- JONAH AND THE WHALE!

Math- We will complete chapter 1-Sorting this week. We will send home test folders this Thursday-please sign and return ALL tests on Friday.
ELA- we will learn the letter sound and formation of letters Ii and Uu. We will continue to write in our journals, handwriting books, and read stories. We will work in teams for stations/centers.
FACTS TEST FOR PARENTS, "NED SHOW" ASSEMBLY WEDNESDAY, AND DRESS DOWN THURSDAY FOR $1.00.
RELIGION- chapter 2- "Names Are Good". Our faith focus is: Because Jesus is the Son of God, his name is Holy. We will learn how to genuflect and how to show reverance for God's name.
Math- continue with chapter 1- Sorting. We will sort by size, color, shape, and sort by size and shape.
ELA- we will learn the formation of letters Mm and Nn. We will continue to read stories then write journal entries about them. We will work in teams and do stations/centers.
Specials begin this week! BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT IS WEDNESDAY AT 6PM, WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING ALL OF YOU! ist school mass Friday at 9am.

Math- Chapter 1- Sorting- Alike/Same, Different, Sort by color, Same shape, and check their progress by taking their first quiz on sorting.
ELA- Unit 1-week 1- learn the formation and sound of letters Bb, Tt, and Ff every day of the week, practice the letters in their workbooks.
Monday-Kindergarten boys first day of school!
Tuesday-Kindergarten girls first day of school!
Wednesday- all Kindergarten report to school.
Thursday- Review all rules and procedures of our Kindergarten class. Ice breakers to get to know one another.
Friday/Monday- NO SCHOOL- LABOR DAY!
