STAR OF THE WEEK IS TULLY KULP! 7TH GRADE CHRISTMAS PLAY IS THURSDAY! MASS FRIDAY GRADES K-4.
Religion- We are begining chapter 12-"Preparing Is Good". Our faith focus is: During Advent we prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. We will prepare our hearts through prayer and recognize how God's family prepared for Jesus.
Math- We will continue chapter 4=Numbers 0-10. We will identify and write the numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, learn ordinal numbers, and take a quiz on Thursday.
ELA- We will learn the letter formation and sounds of letters Qu and Zz. We will continue to say the letter line, practice letter recognition by playing games and using the tile boards. We will have our Unit 1 assessment next week and begin to learn sight words. The worksheet will go home next week.

Math- We will begin chapter 4-Positions. We will learn to identify the positions- above, below, top, middle, bottom, over, on, under, inside, outside, and take a quiz on lessons 1-4.
ELA- We are learning the letter formation and sounds for the letters Ee and Rr. We will continue to practice the letter line, big sound cards, etc.

Religion- Chapter 6- "Talking to God Is Good". Our faith focus is: In prayer, we talk to God. We will demonstrate that prayer involves listening and speaking, tell the meaning of Amen, sing, move, and talk to God as prayer, and listen to God during prayer.
Math- We will complete chapter 3- Geometry and Patterns by taking a quiz, test, and cumulative review. We will begin chapter 4- Positions next week.

Math- We will learn to identify a square, rectangle, and circle, combine and separate figures, and take a quiz on the material learned thus far.

Religion- Chapter 3-Stories Are Good. Our faith focus is: God tells us in the Bible that he loves us. Father Cox will be coming in on Tuesday, 9/23 at 9:30am to talk about the Bible story "Jonah and the Whale". We will also attend 9:00am Mass and LIght of Christ awards this Friday.
Math- This week we are finishing up with chapter 1- Sorting. We will be taking a quiz on Monday, Test on Tuesday, and Cumulative Review on Wednesday. Test folders will come home on Thursday. Please review, sign, and return on Friday.
ELA- Unit 1 week 3- learn the letter formation/sounds of letters Ii and Uu. Make a special book for the star of the week-Kennedy Kirk. We will practice writing the letters Ii and Uu on paper, gel boards, tile boards etc.
