Kindergarten at a Glance
Starting Time is 8:10am. Please do not bring your child to school before 7:50am, unless they are eating breakfast or attending JCPRD. Breakfast will start being served at 7:40am. After 8:10am, your child will be marked Tardy.
Dismissal time for kindergarten is 3:05pm. Teachers and safety patrol members will walk bus riders to their buses and wait with all other children until they are picked up by the appropriate person. Please keep us informed about the arrangements you have made for your child.
Absence Procedure: Call the school and e-mail me as early as possible to notify us if your child will not be attending school. If you have questions about whether your child should attend, please consult with the school nurse. If children are in school, we expect them to participate in the full program. Students are not allowed to remain in the classroom when the rest of the class goes outside to recess.

Kindergarten Lunch Time
11:20am-11:50am
Morning Snack Time Each child needs to bring a snack (fruit, vegetable, dairy, meat, or protein bar) daily. If you are sending a squeezable yogurt, please send it to school frozen or in a lunch bag with an ice pack.
Rest Time If possible, please send a towel to school with your child. We will be using these towels daily as a place to relax and read for a few minutes in the afternoon. Towels will come home at the end of the quarter for you to wash.
