2023 Meets
Thursday, September 7 @ Shawnee Mission Park (Theater in the Park Entrance).
Wednesday, September 13 @ Blue Valley Southwest High School. Only varsity (top 7 boys and top 7 girls) runners will attend.
Tuesday, September 19 @ Shawnee Mission Northwest. All qualified and eligible runners can attend.
Wednesday, September 27 @ Indian Woods.

Saturday, October 7 @ Johnson County Community College.

Tuesday, October 17 @ Shawnee Mission Park. League Championships! All qualified and eligible runners can attend.
Parking: Parents can park in the main Theatre in the Park lot.
Restrooms: Portable Restrooms will be available to the West of the parking lot.
Races: We try and be on this schedule and will start at 3:30 pm, assuming bussing happens. Please know we will be flexible as needed with timing. We will stick to this schedule if we are ahead and get on a rolling schedule if we are behind.
3:30 pm – Mixed Boys and Girls 1 mile race (this race is reserved for athletes that cannot complete the 2 mile distance within 20 minutes)
3:45 pm – B Team Girls 2 mile race (Most runners)
4:10 pm – B Team Boys 2 mile race (Most runners)
4:35 pm – A Team Girls 2 mile race (Top 7 runners)
4:55 pm – A Team Boys 2 mile race (Top 7 runners)
5:20 pm – Awards near the finish
There will be a starter gun fired 5 minutes before the beginning of each race to help call athletes to the line.
Medals: No medals for the 1 mile races, although we will recognize the top three boys and girls in the awards ceremony. The B team 2 mile races will have medals for the top 6 runners. The A Team races will have 10 medals for each race. If your school has the traveling trophy, please bring that with you to the meet. IWMS has the boys trophy. I believe IH has the girls trophy.
