German Exchange Concert
This site will keep you up to date on the weather surrounding the Exchange Concert for the Shawnee Mission South and Bietigheim-Bissingen Music School. The event will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 7pm. If weather holds and we are are able to perform outside, we will hold the concert at the Thompson Park Stage. If the weather is poor, we will hold the event in the Auditorium at Shawnee Mission South High School.
The red banner below will be live and up to date with the concert location. We will not alter the location of the concert after 11 am on Saturday, April 8th.
PERFORMANCE LOCATION: THOMPSON PARK
This concert is part of the larger Overland Park/Bietigheim-Bissingen Sister City Program. Music students from SM South and the Music School exchange for a week every four years and share their lives and music with one another. Thank you for your support of this event and the exchange. It is a meaningful experience that impacts our students.
Thompson Park is located at 8045 Sante Fe Drive in Downtown Overland Park. The concert will be on the stage and audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets as there are no seats provided.
Shawnee Mission South is located at 5800 W 107th Street in Overland Park.
If the weather is poor, we will perform in the Auditorium at 7 pm.
