My name is Tracie Chauvin and I am the school social worker at East Antioch and Brookwood Elementary Schools.
My role is to support students, families and teachers to create a community where we can all thrive. That may look like supporting students with learning social emotional and resiliency skills, supporting families with accessing community resources, working with the school team to develop interventions to foster student success, intervening during crises, and acting as a community liaison. I look forward to meeting families and helping parents connect with the school and the many valuable community resources we have in our community.
Social workers work in a variety of settings, but school social workers bring unique knowledge and skills to the school system and the student services team. School social workers are trained mental health professionals who can assist the school community in a variety of capacities with our skillset and training.
Be sure to check out my website for links to many resources in the area and follow me on Twitter! I often post upcoming opportunities in our community and news from school.
I look forward to connecting with you!
Sincerely,
Tracie Chauvin, LSCSW
