Homework

Parents, 

Students will be writing their homework in their homework planner daily. Homework Planners need to be signed nightly by a parent.  Students who do not complete homework or do not have planners signed will bring home an Oops Note. A parent's signature is required on the Oops Note and the student needs to turn in the missing homework/signed planner and the signed Oops Note the following day.  

HW :

Sometimes, students may have extra homework not listed below if they did not complete classwork during the day.

Wednesday:  

• math: Time Rooms  wksh

• ELA: UFLI homework #3, UFLI phonics test, and vocab test

Thursday:

• Math:  Time wksh

• Field Trip

Looking Ahead:  

• March 2nd: Book Report due. The book report was handed out on Jan. 14th

• March 2nd - 6th: Celebrate Reading Week

2nd: Dr. Suess Day: Wear your wackiest, most whimsical hats and crazy socks inspired by Dr. Seuss (add-ons with PE uniform).  

3rd: Curl Up with a Good Book:  Wear your pj’s and bring in your favorite book, a small “stuffy” and a blanket! Students need to bring in two or three books or a chapter book to read. Please bring a flashlight (that works and has batteries) as well. 

4th: Book Character Day: Wear add-ons with your PE uniform OR dress as your favorite book character (no masks, toys/weapons, makeup).  Costumes must be safe, and students must be able to walk comfortably. 

5th: Reading is a Superpower: Wear your favorite superhero t-shirt or add-on (not full costumes) with the PE uniform.  

6th: Reading Lights Up Our Minds: We will be on a field trip for this day. Students are to wear their gym uniforms for the field trip. We will be "lighting up our minds" on March 3rd by curling up with a book, blanket, stuffed animal, and a flashlight.
