Arrival: 8:05-8:15
PreK-4 parents will enter the church lot from Hickory Avenue and drive up to the Early Childhood Center entrance. You will be greeted by the classroom teacher who will welcome your child and escort them into the building.
Dismissal: 11:20 (Half day) 2:20 (Full day)
At dismissal, PreK-4 parents will drive into the church lot and drive up to the Early Childhood Center entrance. Please display the name card given to you at Meet the Teacher Day for our staff to see. Your child will be called outside once the classroom teacher or aide sees your name card. Please let the teacher know ahead of time if someone other than the parents will be picking up.
Snack:
Please provide a dry snack, for your child daily, in a snack or sandwich size reuseable bag. Please keep the snack bag separate from your child's lunch, labeled with their name.
Lunch:
Lunch will be served after half day children have been picked up. Lunchboxes can be used to hold the children's lunches. Only water is allowed in preschool. Please send in foods your child will be successful with opening.
Birthdays:
A small prepackaged and nut free snack is allowed to be shared on your child's birthday. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in May. Please make sure the ingredient label is attached to the snack for us to see.
***Please remember that our classroom is a nut free space. Please check all labels before sending in food items. ***
Homework:
On Mondays, we will send home some fun learning activities for your child to complete at home with you . These activities are not mandatory, but will help review concepts learned at school.
Inclement Weather Days:
If there is inclement weather, St. Margaret School follows Harford County Public Schools closing schedule. A school wide email will be sent from administration.
