Holy Family Catholic Community is now hiring for two positions within the Christian Formation Ministry: a High School and Young Adult Minister, as well as an Administrative Assistant for Christian Formation.
The High School and Young Adult Minister will work to cultivate an authentic Christian Formation High School and Young Adult community in the parish and enrich the faith lives of those in that demographic through evangelization. Inspired by their own love of the Catholic faith, the person in this role will coordinate weekly Bible study and other group meetings and religious experiences; meet with young adults one-on-one; and minister to high school students alongside with our High School Coordinator. This full-time position requires the employee to work outside of normal work hours and on weekends.
The Administrative Assistant will work with those in the Christian Formation Ministry to organize and support its programs and events. The person in this part-time role will help with background clerical work and record maintenance, including sacraments, as well as coordinate important details for events and work with families receiving the sacrament of Baptism.

Those enrolled in Holy Family’s First Reconciliation and First Communion Sacramental Preparation course for this school year will meet this weekend at the 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, October 22nd or the 8:00 am Mass on Sunday, October 23rd both at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way.

On October 21st and 22nd, Holy Family Church will host Dr. Mike Brummond, doctorate in Sacred Theology, as he explains the Liturgy of the Hours, the impact it can have on our spiritual life, and the practical tools to begin praying it. With tradition going back to early Christian times, the Liturgy of the Hours makes holy the whole course of the day and night by the praises of God.

Are you ready to sing? Holy Family Children’s Choir rehearses every Thursday from 4:00 to 4:45 PM at Holy Family Church, September through May, and leads the singing for one Mass per month.
Children’s choir is open to kids in 2nd grade through 8th grade. No registration is required—simply show up to rehearsal on Thursdays and a Mass schedule will be provided to you.
