From the Desk of Steve Kelnhofer - Elementary School Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians

The end of our 22/23 school year is upon us.  As I reflect upon the journey of this school year, memories of the Ledger Way in action come to my mind. Stories of faith, responsibility, respect, leading, learning, and community. We are all always a work in progress, as we together grow children to become future leaders to meet the global challenges for tomorrow all rooted in Christ's teaching. As a learning institution, we move forward with a growth mindset to become the best version of ourselves as we journey through this life together.

A special thank you to our faculty and staff.  It's an honor to work with each and every one of you through teaching and learning the whole child.  These days are not easy and these days are filled with challenges.  On this road that is chosen, know the joys, smiles, ""ah ha"" moments plant seeds that positively influence the world.  Thank you for sharing your gifts, talents and time with SMSA.

Thank you for choosing SMSA and partnering with us this school year. It truly takes a whole village to raise children to be global leaders of tomorrow rooted in Christ’s teaching. Thank you for being a part of the SMSA Ledger community. May your summer be filled with safety, joy, hope and love.

Until we meet again, may God bless you!
