Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Epiphany of our Lord is celebrated to reveal the Our Savior and announce His coming to the world. The Epiphany gives us the opportunity and time to reflect upon a few questions. What gift will I bring Jesus? How can I use our God Given gifts to better ourselves, influence those around us and change the world? What are you going to do this year to make life a gift? Let's make this year of 2023 one of exploring the unseen gifts of this world such as peace, understanding, empathy and living in the present.

We will be celebrating the Epiphany on January 6th with the rescheduling of our December 22nd Elementary movie and popcorn day to benefit Clay. Please look for more information from the homeroom teachers for the details regarding January 6th as we support Clay and his family. Thank you for your continued generosity towards our fellow man.

January 13, 2023 is the conclusion of the first grading period for our Early Childhood P3 through Kindergarten. Please expect a narrative report card to come home with your Early Childhood child(ren) on January 13th. Please look for more information from the classroom teachers regarding the report cards.

Important notice: Grades P3 through Grade 8 will be in session for class as school is open for learning. Only high school students do not have school on January 16th.

SMSA Parking Lot Reminders

Three of our Ledger Way core values are community, respect, and responsibility. All three of these are needed by our drivers picking up students after school.

For pick up to work properly, we need to work together in community and role model the right decisions and actions.

• Please do not park in an area that leads to clogging up the round a bout on campus going north. The Hug and Go lane for MS/HS is not as long as drivers are creating it to be at this time. Please be a conscientious and respectful driver so the round a bout can be used effectively.

• There are many spots to park in parking stalls on campus on one of the five parking lots.

• Please use the round a bout as intended. Going through it backwards is not safe or helpful. Being patient to use the traffic patterns correctly will help your child understand proper decision making for the community.

Let's work together with patience, community, responsibility and respect. The traffic flow will be a positive experience if everyone works together, thinks about each other, and uses the best practices of our traffic pattern.

Let's show our Little Ledgers the value of our core values in everyday life!
