As we continue our journey with Distance Learning, it is important to consider how you structure your class and deliver instruction. Similar to routines, structures and expectations in your classroom, we need to utilize best teaching practices when delivering instruction in a virtual setting. Decide how you want to utilize both asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities for your students.
You also want to find a structure for communicating lesson objectives and assignments to students and families. Make sure you keep it consistent. This makes it easier for you, your students and their families to keep up with upcoming assignments and assessments. Using a Google Doc or Google Slides template can help keep you and your students organized. See examples below. Feel free to make a copy of the document and adapt it to work for you. You can share these documents with your students via Google Classroom or Seesaw.
