Lincoln Middle School Band

Salvador Muñoz is the Director of Bands at Lincoln Middle School in Santa Monica, California.  Nearly 200 students are members of five concert bands ranging of all levels.  Prior to this, he taught middle school band, beginning strings, and choir with the Baldwin Park Unified School District.  His bands at both districts audition and are invited to perform annually with the Disneyland Resort Community Arts Showcase and consistently earn the highest possible ratings at performance festivals.

Mr. Muñoz is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Spanish, Master of Arts in Education, and a preliminary administrative services credential.

Mr. Muñoz led the Lincoln Middle School Wind Symphony as the featured middle school concert band in the state for the 2020 California All-State Music Education Conference.
