Our Story

One day our Chief of Sales, Jack DeRosa and our VP of Sales, Sean Cavanagh were playing a round of golf and it wasn't going well. Balls hit out of play left and right and even when good shots were hit they had trouble finding the ball. During their round the idea came about after Jack began to brainstorm ways to save money on golf balls. ShotX began as just a trackable golf ball but when the idea became serious was when things such as the app and the metric tracking started to get into discussions. Eventually the idea was so good we couldn't not make it an actual business. So then ShotX was born and since then with the additions of many fantastic employees we are growing rapidly all across the US and hope to become the number one selling golf ball for all levels of golfers.
