This week's Topics - Modern Physics. Here it is guys, the end (and beginning actually) of all things. Science textbooks are constantly being written and re-written due to the discoveries that are happening in the atomic and sub-atomic worlds. There are so many doors to as yet undiscovered worlds of knowledge held within a single particle and we are just starting to open some of those doors now. I hope you find this as fascinating as I do and please, be curious, ask questions, make hypotheses and test them not only in science, but in all of the things you do. This topic marks the completion of your high school Physics Curriculum and, I hope, the beginning of your interest in science and the world around you. The fact that things 'work' is awesome; it is my hope that this class, in all of its forms, has led you to be curious, to ask questions and to search for answers as to why they do. Have a great summer and I'll look forward to seeing you all next year!!

Hi guys!! This week we will be reviewing Mechanics at the AP and Regents level. The Regents level will continue the Blue Book Review and end in a practice Castle Learning Assignment. For AP level, log into the AP College Board website to complete the AP Level Review - Unit 1 - Kinematics Free Response Questions (FRQ) and Unit 2 - Dynamics MCQ. I recommend watching the AP Online Classes given every day at noon on the AP website - they will cover more recent material and will provide good information and problem-solving approaches for you to use on the AP Exam in May.
