Where did we start?

Smithton FFA was originally one of the several sending school to State Fair Vo-tech Agriculture Program. While involved with that an itinerate teacher would travel from school to school teaching 1- 2 hours of agricultural education and the Juniors and Seniors would enroll in the State Fair Vo-tech Agricultural Program. This program created the State Fair FFA Chapter which was chartered in 1975.

In 2008, Smithton made the decision to split off from State Fair FFA and charter their own chapter and several conference school followed. Since then the State Fair FFA Chapter was disbanded and from that the Smithton, LaMonte, Northwest, Lincoln and Warsaw FFA Chapters were formed.

Smithton FFA Chapter was official Chartered on November 3, 2008.
