What are the Sentinel Singers?

The Sentinel Singers are our auditioned vocal group. Students audition in the Fall and immediately begin rehearsals. We meet Fridays after school from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Students learn sections of music on their own and put it together and refine during rehearsal. Since most of the work is done outside of rehearsal, the students who succeed are those that show an ability to learn the music, be responsive to direction, and collaborate well with others.

The Sentinel Singers perform actively outside of school events, some listed below

• RIMEA/ACDA Choral Festival Adjudication

• J. Lawrence Memorial

• NHS Storyland/All Lit Up

• National Anthem at various school events
