About Me
Hello! I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal at Carthage Elementary School. With nearly two decades of experience in education, my passion has always been fostering a supportive, engaging, and high-achieving environment for our students.
My journey in education began right here in Tennessee. I graduated from Oneida High School in 2000 and went on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Tennessee Technological University in 2008. Committed to lifelong learning, I returned to TTU to earn my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (2015) and my Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) degree in Instructional Leadership (2017).
Before stepping into administration, I spent 15 years in the classroom teaching a variety of subjects and grade levels:
Defeated Elementary (2009): 6th Grade Math, Science, and Spelling
Jackson County (2010–2023): 5th Grade Science
Carthage Elementary (2023–2025): 4th Grade Math and Science
In 2025, I transitioned into my current role as Assistant Principal at Carthage Elementary, where I love supporting both our incredible teachers and amazing students every day.
On a personal note, I have been happily married to my wife, Kristin, for 19 years. We are proud parents of three wonderful children. When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family and supporting our local community.
