Hello! My name is Shyenne Kemp, and I am passionate about education and helping students succeed.

I graduated from Gordonsville High School in 2019. After high school, I continued my education at Bethel University, where I earned my Associate of Science degree in 2022. I then completed my Bachelor of Science in Education at Western Governors University in 2024.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. My goal is to continue growing as an educator and inspire students to develop confidence in mathematics while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

My roles at SCHS: You may see me working in different roles at SCHS! Aside from teaching Geometry and Pre-calculus, I also do the following: 

• Prom Committee

• BETA Club Advisor 

• Math and Science Advisor 

I am married to Wesley Kemp, who is also a teacher at SCHS. We have a nephew and a niece on the way!
