Meet the Coaches
Head Coach
I have over 12 yearss of coaching experience in youth sports, including four years as a boys middle school soccer coach. I have also coached recreational league soccer for 12 years as well as middle school and recreational league football.
My goal is to help student-athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Assistant Coach
Here in Smith County, I have been involved with supporting and coaching teams since 2008. Across all levels of ages and skills, from 4 year old first time players, up to 18 yr old high school Seniors. Coaching multiple sports throughout the years, t-ball, rec soccer and rec softball, youth football, middle school football, middle school soccer and high school soccer. This will be my 5th year helping coach the boys middle school soccer team. And while each year brings new opportunities to the pitch, the core values remain the same, create a positive coaching environment for the student athlete to learn and grow in their respective position individually and as a teammate, and to do my best to make sure they have improved from where they started the season.
Assistant Coach
I have had the amazing opportunity to assist the boy’s middle school soccer team since the 2025 season. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where student-athletes can grow both on and off the field. My coaching philosophy emphasizes teaching fundamental soccer skills, fostering teamwork and communication, and promoting an inclusive culture where every player feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed.
Key areas of focus include:
Building strong fundamentals, including passing, dribbling, ball control, shooting, and game awareness.
Encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication among players.
Creating an inclusive environment that welcomes athletes of all skill levels and backgrounds.
Developing confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship through positive coaching and mentorship.
Helping student-athletes learn life skills that extend beyond soccer, including conditioning, responsibility, respect, and perseverance.
In addition to middle school soccer, I have coached recreational league soccer since 2018.
Looking forward to meeting new parents, players, and creating fun memories with the many county schools which comprise the SCMS team.
