Hello! My name is Rachel Newman. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I have been teaching for 7 years. This will be my third year at Forks River. I have taught PreK, K, 2nd 5th, and 6th. Kindergarten is my happy place! I live in Cookeville with my dog Peanut. I have lived in TN for 5 years now. I grew up in North Carolina and Slovakia and also lived in Florida for 8 years. When I'm not teaching, I love to travel, read, and spend time with my family and friends. I love all things Disney!
