Welcome to our Inclusion Pre-K classroom! This is a fun, caring, and supportive place where every child is encouraged to learn and grow. Through play, hands-on activities, songs, stories, and daily routines, students will build important skills while learning at their own pace. We celebrate every achievement and work together to help each child feel confident and successful.
This year, students will work on:
Building communication and language skills.
Developing friendships and positive social skills.
Learning early reading and math concepts.
Improving fine and gross motor skills.
Becoming more independent with daily routines.
Growing emotionally and making progress toward individual IEP goals.
Our days include circle time, learning centers, small-group activities, sensory play, outdoor play, music, stories, and lots of opportunities to learn through play. We can't wait for a great year of learning together!
Hi! My name is Kourtney Malone, and I'm so excited to be your child's teacher this year!
I became a teacher because I love helping children learn, grow, and discover what makes them special. Watching young children build confidence, learn new skills, and celebrate their successes is the best part of my job. Every child learns in their own way, and I enjoy creating a classroom where everyone feels safe, included, and loved.
This semester, I'm excited to get to know each of my students and their families, make new memories, and watch everyone grow throughout the year. I can't wait for all the fun we'll have learning through play, stories, music, art, and hands-on activities. It's going to be a wonderful year!
