This week In the classroom:
We have welcomed our full class this week! We are still learning routines and procedures, holding a crayon and pencil the correct way, and getting to interact with one another in a small group setting. We are Introducing a new color each week until we have covered them all. Practicing writing their name is an important skill we will remain working on all month.
Homework / Things to Practice at Home:
Homework will go home every Tuesday evening. It will be based on whatever we are working on that week. For the first few weeks of school it will be tracing lines and/or the child's first name. Homework that we send home through out the year should not take any longer than 10 minutes! Guide your child and help them complete the skill. The purpose of this homework is to practice a skill and to show you at home what your child may or may not need further help with. Thank you so much for your help and cooperation at home!
