Classroom Goals
In our classroom, I want every student to always feel loved, safe and supported. I want each student to ask questions, problem solve and celebrate every win, big or small. I truly believe that with a positive mindset and attitude, hard work and kindness, every student can succeed!
Welcome to Carthage Elementary School! My name is Brooklyn Taylor, and I am so excited to begin my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and this will now be my 10th year teaching Kindergarten. I love my little people!
I am a graduate of both Smith County High School and Tennessee Tech University. I absolutely love learning and can’t wait to get to know all my wonderful students this upcoming school year. I am married to my wonderful husband Anthony. He owns and operates Upper Cumberland Weather. We have one little girl and her name is Hallie. She just turned three this summer. I also have three sweet rescue kitties named Nala, Salem, and Little Mamas. When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do, some of my favorite things are traveling, reading, shopping, and most importantly, spending time with my family.
My Kindergarten teacher made such a positive impact in my life. She is truly what made me choose to pursue education. I knew at the age of 6 years old that I wanted to teach. I strive to be a positive influence for my students. I want them to always feel loved, safe, and supported.
I am excited to get to know each of my students, and watch them grow into the person they are meant to be.
"A Teacher's greatest gift is believing in a student until they believe in themselves."
