About Me:

Welcome to 1st Grade!

I am so excited to meet you and your child! This is my third year teaching and my fourth year as part of the NMS family. While I may be early in my teaching career, I am no stranger to working with children. My husband and I have four children of our own, and caring for and teaching children has always been a true passion of mine.

I graduated from Gordonsville High School, and my heart has always been rooted in our community. I truly believe we live in one of the most special places in the world. I earned my degree in Elementary Education through Western Governors University, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve the community that helped shape me.

As your child's teacher, my goal is to partner with families and work together as a team to help every student succeed. I strive to foster a genuine love for learning while creating a classroom where every child feels encouraged, supported, and respected.

I believe children learn best when they are confident, cared for, and excited to come to school each day. I look forward to getting to know your family and making this a fun, successful, and memorable year of learning and growth together!
