Class overview
Third grade is a hard year. We are adding two new subjects, science and social studies. We learn our multiplication facts and all about fractions. In third grade, we are no longer learning to read but reading to learn. We also continue to practice reading and writing in cursive. We will stay very busy and we will learn a lot, but I do my best to make it a fun and safe environment for every student. I will treat every kiddo in class just like I treat my own two kids at home.

About me
My name is Susan Myers and I am the third grade teacher at FRS. I live in Elmwood with my husband, Brandon, and our two daughters, Avery and Adley. We also have a dog, Sadie, three cats, Lucille, Mittens, and Fred, a hampster, Pepper, and a fish, Fishy.
Both of our girls play basketball, so we spend most of our time in a gym, but when we have free time, we love to hike and cook. My favorite colors are green, blue, purple, and pink. I love iced coffee and diet Mt. Dew. I am a salty snacker, but do love chocolate as a treat!
