Welcome to 4th grade!!!

My name is Julie Leslie, and I will be your child's math teacher.  I am an alumni of Gordonsville High School and Tennessee Tech University.  This is my 32nd year of teaching and my fourth year to teach 4th grade math.  My husband, Brian, is also a teacher at Gordonsville High School.  We have a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Britt, that we are so proud of.  We have a sweet kitty named Luna.  In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, traveling, going to concerts, and shopping for antiques with my daughter.  In the fall, you will find me in the gym cheering on the GHS volleyball team that my husband coaches.  Saturdays in the fall mean cheering on Alabama football.  Roll Tide!!!

This year I hope to instill a love of math in your child.  We do not want students to say, "I can't do this."  We want them to say, "I can't do this, yet, but I will learn!"  It will take a partnership between teachers and parents to help your child achieve their highest potential.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
