Welcome

My name is Julie Thomas. I have taught for 30 years in the Smith County School District. I have been a second grade teacher at New Middleton School for the last seven years and I am excited for another great class! I am also the NMS after school site director. 

I am a proud mother, grandmother (Dado), aunt, friend, sister, and wife outside of just being an educator. My goal is to see all students succeed academically while making sure they know they are loved and belong. 

At NMS, we collect pull tabs from cans for the Ronald McDonald house which I deliver each year in memory of my angel baby Tred K. Thomas. This organization is near and dear to my heart.
