This is my third year teaching at Smith County High School. Previously, I have taught in the Putnam County School system for 12 years. I have taught across multiple age ranges from 7th grade to 12th grade. Along with teaching English 1, English 3, and ACT Prep here at SCHS, I am also the head coach of the boys basketball team.

I have one son, Ryley, who is a 16 year old junior at Cookeville High School. I also have a younger brother and 2 young nephews!

Most of my free time is spent in a gym! I coach basically the entire year at Smith County and with the TN Rush travel organization. Also, Ryley and I are avid Mixed Martial Arts enthusiasts. We both train at Upper Cumberland MMA in Cookeville, watch, and attend MMA events.
