My focus is on helping students through inclusion in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, English 1-4, Chemistry, and Biology. I also work with students in smaller settings as well as one-on-one as needed!
About me
My name is Jessica Dillehay! This year begins my 17th year of teaching and year 13 at Gordonsville High School. I started working in Smith County Schools while I was in college working towards my teaching degree. I worked for 4 years at Forks River Elementary School teaching 6-8 grade math.
While at FRS, I obtained my Master's in Special Education. This allowed me to accept the job at Gordonsville High School. Since then I have went back to school again, and have an Ed. S in Instructional Leadership as well as an Ed. S in Applied Behavior Analysis.
I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else. I have had opportunities to go elsewhere and do different things, but I feel I am where I am supposed to be.
My husband and I live outside of South Carthage on a farm with our son Jackson and our three dogs. In my free time, I love to read, go kayaking, and riding our side-by-side.
