Dear Carthage Families, Students, and Community Members,
On behalf of the entire staff, it is an absolute joy to welcome you to Carthage Elementary School—the home of the Owls! Whether you are returning for another fantastic year or joining our school family for the very first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant community.
At Carthage Elementary, we take immense pride in fostering an environment where learning is an exciting adventure, curiosity is celebrated, and every child feels valued, supported, and loved.
About me
I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful school as a teacher leader. With over 20 years in education, my heart belongs in our school community, and I take immense pride in supporting our teachers and students to help our school shine. I truly adore our students—watching them grow, learn, and discover their passions is the most rewarding part of my work.
Outside of school, my family is my absolute world, and nothing brings me more joy than spending quality time with my kids and grand kids. When I’m not surrounded by loved ones or at school, you can usually find me embracing the great outdoors! I love camping, fishing, curling up with a good book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and soaking up nature whenever I get the chance.
