Hello! 

My name is Jenna Hackett and I am the Health Occupations Teacher at GHS. I am starting my 4th year at GHS, and have worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2018. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. After college, I worked as a dental hygienist for 5 years full time, before transitioning into education. I completed additional education courses through UT Martin to complete my occupational teacher training and receive my teaching license. During the summers, you may find me filling in at local dental offices as a RDH. I teach Health Science, Medical Therapeutics, Anatomy and Physiology, and I oversee the Clinical Internship Program for eligible seniors. I am also the HOSA - future health professionals advisor for GHS. 

Outside of school, I am a mom to two little boys, Boone (4) and Forrest (2). I've been married to my husband, Hunter, since 2020, and we live in Carthage, which is where we both have grown up our entire lives. I love to travel, anything old/antique, and I do photography as well. 

 I love getting to work with your students and see the growth in them from year to year. Healthcare is such a rewarding profession, and I hope to lay the foundation for their future success as healthcare professionals.
