Algebra 1 Overview

Algebra 1 is designed to build a strong foundation in mathematical thinking and problem-solving while preparing students for future high school mathematics courses. Aligned with the Tennessee Academic Standards, students will explore linear, quadratic, exponential, and polynomial relationships through equations, functions, graphs, and real-world applications. Throughout the year, students will develop critical thinking skills, strengthen their ability to communicate mathematical reasoning, and apply what they learn to solve meaningful problems. My goal is to help every student build confidence, persevere through challenges, and experience success in mathematics.
