The marching band also performs at the SC Fair Opening Ceremony, Gordonsville vs SC Tailgate, GHS Homecoming Parade, The Smith County Veteran's Day Parade, and Gordonsville Christmas Parade.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather and changes made by the board of education.
Tennessee Tech University will hold its annual All-Star Instrumental Symposium on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
This event offers outstanding high school musicians an opportunity to gain valuable insights and improve their musicianship under the guidance of Tech's acclaimed faculty. Throughout the day, our woodwind, brass, and percussion faculty will provide clinics and masterclasses that focus on audition prep, technique, and practice/performance tips.
The symposium will be held on Tech's campus in the Bryan Fine Arts building. It's open to high school students in grades 10-12 who play woodwind, brass or percussion instruments. There's no cost to attend, but please note that lunch is not provided.
Please instruct all participating students to self-register using the link or QR code below. We are no longer asking band directors to nominate students.
