Welcome to GES!
This week we will
CREATE Step 3: Use a variety of color schemes to complete each section of the Andy Warhol project.
Step 2: Create multiple copies of the same drawing using different color schemes. We continue to draw inspiration from the work of American artist, Andy Warhol.
Practice Contour line drawing by careful observation.
Step 1; Prepare drawings for a repetition image inspired by Andy Warhol.
PRESENT their work to their classmates and potentially as a wall display in the halls.
RESPOND by Asking questions about each other's work, explaining their choices, and interpreting what they see in the works of Andy Warhol.
CONNECT with their peers by discussing their ideas and design choices. They will connect with the artist's idea that art can be many things beyond paint and marble and even the simplest things can be artfully made.
This year we will be celebrating our country's 250th birthday by focusing on American Artists!

About the Teacher
My name is Jenny Penuel. My husband and I live on our family farm here in Smith County. I have drawn and made things with my hands since I was able to hold a crayon. I love seeing students learn about their world and how to express their ideas through making things along with me.
