Objectives:
Students will be review their five finger hand position.
Students will identify their first five notes on the staff.
Students will play the selected song (Ode To Joy) for the teacher.
Students will improve their posture and hand position when playing the piano.

Objectives:
Students will explore the music from Mongolia.
Students will listen to music from different time periods.
Students will learn about different instruments used to produce this music
Students will express there thoughts about the music and instruments.

8th Grade
Objectives:
Students will explore the composer, Stravinsky.
Students will listen to music from various parts of his carrier.
Students will define how the music sounds in their own words.
Students will explore the different genres the compser wrote and compare them.
