Mrs. Dawson's Class

About me

Hi! I'm Mrs. Dawson. The 2026-27 school year will be my 15th year in the classroom. I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and STEM. This is my first year teaching 5th and 6th grades, but I'm up for the challenge. 

I have a bachelor's degree in education from MTSU and a masters in Curriculum Design from the University of Memphis. 

I have a husband of 15 years, a 14 year old son, and a 12 year old son. My husband is the pastor at Chestnut Mound Missionary Baptist as well as a data analyst for the State of TN. We moved to Gordonsville recently and have fallen in love with the town.
