About me
Hi! I'm Mrs. Dawson. The 2026-27 school year will be my 15th year in the classroom. I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and STEM. This is my first year teaching 5th and 6th grades, but I'm up for the challenge.
I have a bachelor's degree in education from MTSU and a masters in Curriculum Design from the University of Memphis.
I have a husband of 16 years, a 15 year old son, and a 12 year old son. In my spare time, I am a National Parks nerd, traveling all over the country to see Americas beautiful parks. We moved to Gordonsville in December 2025 and have fallen in love with the town.
