Hi everyone! I’m Kelli Martin, and I am so excited to be your math and social studies teacher this year!
Teaching is my passion, and my goal every day is to create a welcoming, encouraging, and engaging space where every student feels supported to grow, take risks, and succeed.
We have an incredible year of learning ahead of us! Here is a quick look at two of our core subjects:
Math (Savvas Curriculum): We use the Savvas math curriculum, which focuses on building strong problem-solving skills, deep conceptual understanding, and real-world application. Through interactive lessons, guided practice, and hands-on activities, students will learn to think like true mathematicians!
Social Studies (Gallopade Curriculum): History and geography come alive with our Gallopade curriculum! Designed to be interactive and inquiry-based, Gallopade helps students explore history, government, and cultures through engaging primary sources, primary-source analysis, and fun student workbooks.
"Learning is a journey, not a race."
I believe that every child learns differently and brings unique strengths to our classroom family. Partnering with families is a huge part of student success, so please never hesitate to reach out if you have questions, ideas, or just want to check in!
Let’s make this the best school year yet! 🌟

My name is Mrs. Martin, and I am excited to be teaching you math & social studies in 3rd grade this year! I live in Defeated and am married to Jason. We have three sons, Eli, Ty, and Riley. (You will hear me talk about them a lot!) I also have an aussiedoodle named Dixie and a lab named Lady. I love to read, go to barre class, spend time with friends, decorate, and help my husband with real estate. I spend most of my time away from school running around with my boys!
I am very excited about this school year. We are going to have a blast and learn a ton! This is my 26th year as a teacher! I can’t wait to get the year started and get to know more about you!
