Nicholus Bussell
I graduated from Macon County High School in 2013, after which I attended Vol State and UT Martin. I have been teaching for 10 years in various CTE classes, primarily working with seniors to ensure they are well-prepared for college, trade school, or the workforce.
I first joined the SCHS coaching staff in 2016 as an assistant coach for the Lady Owls and Owls soccer teams, and in 2017, I was promoted to head coach of the Lady Owls—a position I continue to hold today. Additionally, I served as assistant athletic director from 2019 to 2022 and have served as Smith County High School’s Athletic Director since 2022.
As the new school year begins, I’d like to wish every senior a successful and accomplished year on and off the field!
